We're here! It's been a long wait for the flight to Ulan Ude but we couldn't persuade the explorers to entertain the locals with a morris dance. Oh well plenty of minutes to practice when we get to Batsumber!

...and the weather has turned very British! Hurrah! lets go to a different continent!

(note fancy primus stoves as you can't buy meths in much of the world! We can cook on gas, cheap gas, unleaded, diesel or aviation fuel so we will be able to cook!)

I hope everyone will post stuff here to send pics, thoughts, musings from far away back home! We will be a thousand miles from comfort - we'll have travelled air and land... but as long as we're together, there's no place I'd rather be!
